Training on the use of data for immunization programme improvement

This training, designed for Kyrgyzstan’s national and subnational immunization programme managers, vaccine-preventable disease surveillance officers and Ministry of Health representatives, aims to strengthen participants’ ability to analyse surveillance and immunization data and apply data triangulation techniques to address 3 critical areas: equity in immunization, accelerating control of vaccine-preventable diseases (with a specific focus on measles) and improving data quality.
This training, designed for Kyrgyzstan’s national and subnational immunization programme managers, vaccine-preventable disease surveillance officers and Ministry of Health representatives, aims to strengthen participants’ ability to analyse surveillance and immunization data and apply data triangulation techniques to address 3 critical areas: equity in immunization, accelerating control of vaccine-preventable diseases (with a specific focus on measles) and improving data quality.
The training will also generate specific data analyses to support evidence-based immunization programme planning, evaluation and decision-making for programme improvement at national and subnational levels.
The subnational-level training will take place on 28–29 October, followed by the national-level training on 30–31 October. The national-level training includes an additional day to cover the use of the WHO measles programmatic risk assessment tool.
